How many spots are available?
Just 10 exclusive spots. Once those are filled, no additional sign-ups will be accepted, but you can add your name to an interest list for future BOM's if all the spots fill up or you aren't ready for this one.
When do sign-ups open?
Enrollment opens on September 15th at 9:00 AM (Arizona time).
What is due at registration?
A $230 payment (+ shipping). This covers the complete set of papers, all templates needed, and 3 yards of connector fabric you’ll use throughout the quilt, the first month of fabric (2 yards), and a quilt layout diagram along with tips to get started.
What will I receive each month and how much is it per month?
For 9 months, you’ll receive a curated bundle of 6 Anna Maria fabrics (2 yards total) plus a block layout diagram to follow along with Leslie in the sew along. Each delivery builds toward your finished Compass Garden quilt. The monthly cost is $30/month (+shipping.)
How much fabric is included overall?
The program includes 23 yards of Anna Maria Textiles — and that’s before the optional finishing kit!
What is the finishing kit?
As soon as the fabrics arrive, you can choose to purchase the optional Finishing Kit ($60), which includes the fabrics for borders and binding. Widebacks will also be available separately.
Will I get the full Compass Garden pattern right away?
Not the full standalone pattern you’ll eventually see sold publicly. During the BOM, you’ll receive block layout diagrams and instructions each month to sew along, and at the beginning of the program you’ll get the complete Compass Garden layout . You won't need the pattern by the time the sew along is done. The standalone retail pattern will be released later to the general public.
When will I receive the connector fabric?
The 3 yards of connector fabric are included with your registration package so you can start piecing and stay on track from the beginning.
Can I cancel after I sign up?
No. Enrollment in Compass Garden is a full 10-month commitment. Once you register, you are committing to the entire program.
What happens if my monthly payment doesn’t go through?
You’ll have 7 days to update your payment method. If payment isn’t resolved, your spot may be forfeited and offered to someone on the waitlist.
What if I don’t get one of the 10 spots, but I really want to make this quilt?
Don’t worry! The full Compass Garden pattern will be released to the public in just a few months. Once all 10 BOM kits are packaged up, we’ll also be offering curated Anna Maria bundles for sale. These won’t include every fabric from the BOM, but they’ll be beautifully coordinated and perfect for making Compass Garden, as well as other Darty Kite designs like Asterisms and Juniper’s Song, which also feature Anna Maria Textiles.
